United Business Media sells non-core UK publications

United Business Media plc announced today that CMPi, UBM's UK and European professional media business, has sold a number of publications for a total cash consideration of £14.6m.

Industrial Equipment Market and The Trader have been sold to Metropolis International (UK) Limited for £9m.

Trade-It has been sold to Friday-Ad Limited for £4m.

Two directories, The Knowledge and Benn’s Media, have been sold to Wilmington Group plc for £1.6m.
