You can buy shares through a stockbroker or a share-dealing service, of which there is a variety available. Except for those holders of B shares who live in the USA, Canada, Australia or Japan, each year the company makes a repurchase offer to holders of B shares to buy back their shares at 245 pence per share. This offer is generally made in the late summer. B shares are also traded on the London Stock Exchange and you can buy and sell B shares in the market at the prevailing price. However, the market may not be very liquid. If I do not accept the offer this time will I have another opportunity to sell my B shares?

The annual report is sent automatically to all shareholders. If you are not a shareholder you can either download a copy from this website or request a copy by emailing: reportrequest@ubmgroup.biz. This is because the registrars have more than one account in your name. This may be because when you last purchased UBM shares your name or address was provided to the registrars in a different format from that held on your existing account.
