UBM aims to provide a supportive working environment for employees so that everyone has the opportunity to perform to the best of his or her ability. You can find out more about what we offer and what it’s like to work for UBM in the Working at UBM section of this website.

Health and safety

We recognise our responsibility to provide a safe working environment. All divisional chief executive officers are responsible for ensuring that their businesses comply with all applicable health and safety legislation and for maintaining comprehensive health and safety procedures.

Measuring performance in health and safety is an important part of managing the issues and creating a safe working environment. Our goal for 2006 is to improve the quality of data collection and to standardise reporting on health and safety issues. We will then make these reports available in this section of our website.

Tackling fraud, corruption and malpractice

UBM operates an anti-malpractice policy which encourages employees and others working for the group to help tackle fraud, corruption or other malpractice within the organisation. The policy ensures employees receive statutory protection under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.

UBM’s audit committee regularly reviews the operation of the anti-malpractice policy.
